What we do and why it matters

Local, Veteran-owned, Honest

Owners Alex and Courtland grew up as childhood friends. Both served in the military where they gained priceless experience and skills. After their service, they continued to gain valuable experience and training in their civilian jobs. After seeing how current IT companies do things, they thought that there needs to be a better way to do this. They noticed that it is hard to find affordable and competent IT support for small business. Many businesses hide their pricing and services behind the sales calls and quotes. Additionally, in order to get help, customers can call in and wait on a call for hours, email and wait hours for a response or days for a resolution, or they can use an online chat that either has an automated robot or incompetent call center support.

They decided they were going to restart IT service and lead the way to something better. McKinney IT Restart is dedicated to being affordable, competent, and responsive.

Affordable

How do we provide pricing that is half of our competitors?

We are a lean, mean machine. We run our company lean, and focus on value to our customer. We do this by lowering the overhead of a traditional office. We have a remote work force for modern collaboration. Our internal software and systems are optimized to provide the best value to our customers. We only spend extra on things that will directly provide value to the customer. We don't believe that you need to buy the most expensive solution, just because the big companies use it.

Responsive

We utilize modern technology and offer multiple forms of communication. This way you can get what you need faster. It doesn't make sense to send an email and wait an hour for a response, if you only need a quick answer. We provide fast communication to fix fast problems. You can connect with us using call, text, email,  or schedule a call on your time for those harder issues. With our maintenance package we can automate smaller issues, and they can get fixed before you know it is an issue.

Competent

We don't have an escalation system. We don't believe in hiring lower inexperienced technicians to answer calls, then escalate the important issues. That wastes time and causes frustration. All of our technicians are competent and can handle your issues. You will be connected directly to high quality support. We don't make you jump through hoops.

You keep control

Other IT providers keep you locked out of your systems. We share access to those systems, so that you don't feel like your computers are held hostage.

Alexander Van Anda

Alex grew up in small town Lititz, PA. At the age of 5 he helped his dad build his first computer, this was the start of a lifelong fixation. Growing up he continued to work on computers and help friends with their issues. Even at his first job at a grocery store he was the go-to “computer guy” for any issues that popped up. This trend continued throughout his 6 years of service in the United States Air Force, where he was an aircraft mechanic on F-16’s. Even after his service he was always called upon to help with the pesky printers in the office. Finally, he decided it was time to put his affinity to use, and started McKinney IT Restart with his childhood friend Courtland. In order to quantify his experience, he currently attends Penn State University pursuing a degree in Information Sciences and Technology.

Courtland Alleman
